Flight 1549

It is simply amazing that no one on Flight 1549 died. This flight was headed to Charlotte, North Carolina on January 16, 2009, and then to Seattle-Tacoma, Washington. When the plane took off about two minutes after Jeffrey Skiles who was the first officer in charge noticed that there were birds flying toward the plane, and then the birds hit right into the plane, killing off the engine. I read the article Flight 1549, and it explains more about what happened on this day that everyone is now calling “Miracle on the Hudson”. The pilot really knew what he was doing to save all of those people that day. If it was another pilot who knows if all of those people would have survived.
