Los Angeles Oprah Fans

Oprah's fans are varied and many. Some of them, who live in the Los Angeles area, have been fans for a very long time, and they support many of the things for which she stands. They also praise her for the charitable projects she has sponsored such as the school for girls in Africa. They see her as a very strong woman who has earned her way to the top despite being born in poverty.

Lately, however, it seems that some of them are beginning to wane in their support of her. This is due to her endorsement of Barack Obama as the Democratic presidential nominee. Others have judged some of her programs to be a little too far out for them.

In regard to Oprah's support of Obama, many of her fans think that she should have supported Hilary Clinton. They see her support of Obama as a betrayal of women. They also think that she supported Obama just because he is black. On the other hand, some of her fans point out that she has every right to support the candidate of her choice.

Two programs that recently have caused a stir among Oprah's fans are the series which featured Eckhart Tolle and the one with the pregnant man. For the fans, Tolle espouses the new age religion which is not friendly to Christianity. After the pregnant man episode, many fans stated that they would never watch Oprah again.

Many of Oprah's fans have shown that they expect a certain standard from her and will not hesitate to let their views be known when they think she has gone too far in what she does.
