Oprah fans have lot to say and they say it through blogging across the internet. As most know, Oprah has a webcast that viewers can download the show and leave comments. One fan left a supportive story of how the webcast help her understand herself better and gave her some clarity of how she thinks. Others showed their appreciation of being able to download Oprah and Friends on iTunes. However, this fan expressed that it costs too much money to purchase a XM radio in order to have access to all of Oprah’s XM offerings. Some would be willing to pay a monthly fee to download these things.
When it comes to politics Oprah fans have spoken up with their disapproval. Some women claim that Oprah got her fame from hosting a show that speaks to woman and now she is supporting Obama instead of his Democratic woman opponent. Some of her woman fans state that for the first time ever a woman is running and has chance at presidency and Oprah, who historically on her show preaches about woman advancement, supports a man. Others resent that she is using her show to promote Obama. While she has a right to her opinion, she should not push it on the public’s form of everyday entertainment show. Some fans feel she is on her way out because of her new age views which turns some other religious people off. Ellen seems to have filled the spot for those fans that refuse to watch Oprah because of her political involvement.
