Oprah’s Fans Don’t Like the Politics

It is not hard to find fans of Oprah Winfrey. Oprah has found the hook and because she spreads the love in so many directions. The Oprah Show personalizes it subjects in such a way that the learning experience is going to reach you one way or another.

One very smart move was bringing aboard, Dr. Mehmet Oz as a reoccurring guest. We have all felt that frustration of not being able to get our questions answered about our health. The segments with Dr. Oz prove that no subject goes unturned. This was especially apparent when Oprah had a special show just for male fans, and the women all had to leave the studio. The hands-on experience and the way Oprah fans can interact with its presenters on such a personal level is once again the hook Oprah has to bring her loyal fan base.

Another very hands-on experience was her online book class of, “A New Earth” by, Eckhart Tolle where millions came together to experience a transformation or awakening in their lives. She is now also offering another online "webinar" class in her Soul Series with author, Elizabeth Lesser.

It took her support of Barack Obama to actually affect the Oprah fan community in such a way that her ratings have dropped since she allowed herself to get involved in politics. It goes to show that many of Oprah’s fans think of her as a best friend. You don’t talk politics with your friends if you want to keep them. Perhaps coincidentally that is why you have not seen the daytime diva on the campaign trail in recent months.
