Oprah's Fans

Oprah's fans consist of about 75 percent of women.  One of the largest fan based shows she ever held was in New York City, it was about ten times the amount of people that she usually entertained.  One thing that everyone had to say is that Oprah Winfrey is a very inspiring person.  She caught the hearts of New York when she talked about the event of 9/11 on her show.  Although that event had happened a long time ago, it will never leave the hearts of the New York people.

In showbiz there are ups and downs, any decision can either make you or brake you. It went both ways with the fans in New York City, some fell head over heals for Oprah and others have eventually faded away. A lot had to do with the decision she made to support Barack Obama, instead of Hillary Clinton. Oprah lost some respect from her fans due to her political decision.  Many thought that Winfrey supported Barack Obama due to her ethnic background, instead of what she represented herself to be (the voice of women everywhere).

Although Oprah had lost a few of her fans due to the political election campaign, she surely has succeeded in getting some back by publishing her magazine.  In the world today there are more readers then there are listeners and watchers.  It is a lot easier to make time to read something then schedule a time to watch something.
